As
a realtor, you have an obligation to show potential homebuyers what they could
be purchasing from you. As you take them through a home, you need to show them
everything, inside and out. If the builders haven’t completed the home in one
way or another, you still have to show them what they will be purchasing.
Words
are not enough. You have to give your homebuyers a visual. When the builders
can’t deliver a finished product in time, a 2D architectural rendering can.
This will allow you to show off the finished product in one form or another.
The
homebuyers want to see what they are buying in no uncertain terms. No matter
how well you paint the picture with descriptions, hand gestures and floor
plans, homebuyers want a visual. They’re not going to write a check or sign a
contract without knowing exactly what the home is going to look like from every
angle.
Time
is money, which means you can’t wait for the builders to finish. You must keep
on with your job and show the house regardless of whether it’s completed or
not. The 2D architectural rendering is going to
paint the picture you need in order to sell the home. You can then let the
builders take their time with the home because you will have already sold it.
The
2D architectural rendering is ultimately going to make the blueprint and floor
plan come alive. Professional artists will take the documentation you give them
and design it so that people can envision standing in the living room, the
kitchen or even on the outside of the home. You will then get to work with the
artists to fill in all the blanks.
